Pop's Wine Bar was created in honor and memory of a great man referred to as "Pop" by his children, grandchildren and in-laws. He was a long time Tylerite, moving here in 1962 transferring from Cumberland Maryland to work at the Kelly Springfield tire plant. Along with working at a tire manufacturing facility came his obsession with NASCAR racing. This led him to many racetracks around the country where he also found an affinity for Florida beaches, namely Daytona. He spent many a summer with his family vacationing at the beach.
He was know as a collector of random things (pocket watches, stamps, knives, and coins), he loved to garden, work on cars, and drink cheap wine. He was a Godly man and his favorite Bible passage was Psalm 23. Most of all he loved his family. He is missed by all.
Pop's Wine Bar is a friendly establishment located in Tyler, Texas. Pop's is known for its homey atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, large wine selection, and great homemade small plates. The wine bar hosts holiday parties, reunions, and company parties, and more!
